PHP Steel Complex comprises several entities, including PHP Cold Rolling Mills Ltd., PHP Continuous Galvanizing Mills Ltd., PHP NOF Continuous Galvanizing Mills Ltd., and PHP Power Generation Plant Ltd., which houses two gas turbines, each with a capacity of 7.5 MW, operating independently. Within the complex, you can find two Cold Rolling Mills, three Galvanizing Lines, Bell Annealing Furnaces, and various supporting operations, enabling it to function continuously with a total of 15 MW of power. Notably, PHP's steel production is a defining feature, making it Bangladesh's top industrial company. The company's headquarters are located in Chattogram, the port city. In a strategic move to better serve the public interest, optimize administrative benefits, and reduce operational costs and expenses, the management decided to merge three entities with PHP NOF Continuous Galvanizing Mills Ltd. This merger was duly authorized by an order from the High Court Division of the Supreme Administrative Court of Bangladesh and took effect on December 1, 2019.
