Career
The Founder and Executive of PHP Family, Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman, started his profession as a bank employee back in 1967. He nurtured the dream of establishing Bangladesh's leading corporate conglomerate with a visionary outlook. This turned into reality in 1999, when he established the PHP Group, presently broadly perceived as the PHP Family. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Dhaka in 1965 and later obtained his diploma in Banking. Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman is a revered spiritual figure who practices Sufism every day in addition to his remarkable business accomplishments. He fervently supports Tasawuf, the philosophical path that leads people toward Sufism and inspires people, in particular in the subcontinent. He has received numerous awards and honors for his significant contributions to the growth of the company. Moreover, he is a commendable individual, deeply connected to his roots, who has honored his parents by faithfully following their guidance in every aspect of his daily life.

- Was awarded the esteemed Ekushey Padak in 2020, the second-highest civilian award, in recognition of remarkable contributions across various fields.
- Received the Standard Chartered-Financial Express Corporate Social Responsibility Award on March 16th, 2016, highlighting outstanding dedication to corporate social responsibility.
- Was honored as the 'Pride of Chittagong' by Dainik Purbokone and Grameenphone for exceptional dedication to employment generation.
- Was acknowledged as the "BUSINESS PERSON OF THE YEAR" in 2003 by the Finance Minister of the Government of Bangladesh for exceptional management skills and outstanding leadership qualities.
- Is currently serving as the Honorary Consul of Indonesia in Chattogram, Bangladesh.
- Holds the esteemed position of Chief Patron for both the Allama Rumi Society, Chattogram, and the Sufi Mizan Foundation.

- Previously served as the President of the Rotary Club of Agrabad, Chittagong, and held the position of Vice President at the Chittagong Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
- Is a lifetime member of Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital and a fellow of the Paul Harry's Foundation (Rotary International).
- Was the founding Sponsor of Independent University Bangladesh (IUB), showcasing dedication to advancing education.
