With the rapid growth of the construction industry in Bangladesh, PHP Family has seized the opportunity to expand its range of steel products by introducing TMT bars. In 2010, PHP Ispat Limited took over AMK Steels Ltd., a semi-automatic rolling plant. Afterward, they transformed the facility into a fully automated re-rolling mill, currently engaged in producing 500W TMT bars of different sizes (8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 22mm, 25mm, and 32mm) to meet market demand. The primary function of the rolling equipment is to compress raw materials into a thinner and more consistent shape, which is essential for the production of sheet metal. The reheating furnace is used to roll the materials into the desired size at the rolling mills. Any bending is corrected, and the resulting blanks are cut into specific lengths, stacked, or bundled for shipping. This process is repeated to ensure a precise outcome. To meet global standards, PHP Ispat has incorporated UGI India's technology and equipment. By following a meticulous five-step production process involving re-heating in the furnace, roughing mill, intermediate processing, TMT process, and intermediate stands 1, 2, and 3, PHP Ispat ensures the production of top-quality BAR.
